The 1 RU Denon DN-500BDMKII is a compact, high-performance professional Blu-ray disk and media player offering a wide-range of connections and compatibility with virtually every disc and digital format, making it ideal for corporate A/V, education, theaters, houses of worship, and more. Supported formats include BD25, BD50, BD-RE, DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW and Audio CD (CD-R, CD-RW), DTS Music Disc, and HDCD. Using the built-in LAN port, users may optionally access additional content via BD Live.
For even more versatility, front-loading SD and USB ports deliver access to video, audio and picture files such as AVI, MOV, MP4, MP3, WAV, FLAC, GIF, JPEG, and PNG. The unit can also be controlled by the included remote, via RS-232 commands, or over IP. Additionally, the player has discrete 7.1-channel analog outputs for simple connection to powered speakers or signal management devices. The Denon DN-500MKII ships with a power cord, remote control, and rackmount hardware.

The 3G-SDI upgrade offers an affordable way of adding a SMPTE 424M high definition serial digital interface (3G-SDI) to your equipment. The connection bypasses the D/A and A/D stages and sends a digital signal (up to 1080) directly into your video processor. The result is a much more detailed picture with richer colors and NO video noise. Features: - Includes OSD and interactive menu's in the SDI signal. - Supporting standards: 3G-SDI (SMPTE 424M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M) and SDI (SMPTE 259M-C). - Supports SD resolution of: 480i and 576i. - Supports HD resolution of: 720p, 1080i, 1080p and 1080p24 - 8 channels of embedded audio (LPCM or bitstream at 48KHz).
